When we were initially looking for our first caravan we made sure to do some research and to visit as many websites as we could. We also made it a priority to visit a caravan/motorhome show, which we did in 2019 at Auckland Showgrounds. After wandering around and admiring many wonderful displays, we came to ALM, which is where I wanted to be.
I knew that a Crusader Chameleon was on display, and I was already impressed with what I had seen on the ALM website. As we did not have a large SUV at the time, towing capacity was an important factor. We bought the Chameleon there and then and have had many trips over the past couple of years, even during Covid, as we are self contained and can be off grid too.
Now we are looking to get a bigger caravan as our ‘training wheels’ are off, and we will certainly be revisiting ALM, as the service provided at point of sale and since that has been beyond compare. We have no hesitation, whatsoever in returning to ALM, and would suggest to anyone that they take advantage of the great team and specialist knowledge ALM offers.

We have been clients of Auto Leisure and Marine (ALM) for more than 5 years. Through them we were fortunate to be able to order and purchase an Avida Esperance C7994 WSL wheelchair accessible motorhome.
We have somewhat different needs too most of their clients and throughout the ordering , building and fit up of the motorhome, Andrew, Fleur, Raewyn and the whole team at ALM we’re amazing to deal with, nothing was too much trouble, we were always given as much time as we needed to get everything right.
Right now they are in the process of building and fitting ceiling mounts for a battery powered Hoist for us so that we can continue our motorhome journey, without which we would not be able to manage the physical demands that life presents.
